Bible Passage: Ephesians 6:10-13

When we get to Ephesians 6, unless Satan is an intelligent, personal being, Paul’s admonition to “put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes,” becomes confusing. Impersonal principles don’t develop schemes. It is because there is a real devil; because he has schemes, we are going to spend the next several weeks thinking about the enemy, his schemes, and more importantly: the resources God has given you so that you are able to stand.
